Fragments of Presence

This series is not about nudity. It is about trust. I didn't want to photograph women for how they look. What interested me was who they are when the moment belongs to them and not to the camera.

That is why there were no poses and no expectations. Only time, movement, and a protected space in which they could unfold freely. I filmed the entire process. The photographs came later – as a selection from many small moments. It wasn't the perfect moment that mattered, but the honest one. The blur is part of it. It strips the images of their definitiveness. What remains is not the description of a body, but a gesture, a movement, a memory.

Each image is a fragment of an encounter.
